Marketing coordinator Video editor Dubai

Hi, I'm Cham.
Half editor, half marketer.

You have about 1.7 seconds before someone scrolls past your brand. I make sure they don’t.

A bit more about me

I’m a Dubai-based video editor and marketer. I turn raw footage into content that stops the thumb and builds trust while it plays.

I’ve edited for brands where credibility is everything, from healthcare and aesthetics clinics to growing local businesses. I shape interviews, behind-the-scenes moments and everyday footage into reels that inform, reassure and convert, in both English and Arabic.

Half editor, half marketer.

I studied business and marketing at HIBA in Damascus and earned four Google digital marketing certificates. So every edit answers two questions: Does it look right? And: Will it work?

What you can count on me for

  • Talking-head reels and interviews that flow naturally
  • Motion graphics and captions that carry your brand
  • Colour and pacing built for the phone in your audience’s hand
  • Bilingual Arabic–English content that reads like it was written in each language
  • Calm, organised collaboration from first cut to final approval

The best feedback I get is simple: “That’s exactly how we wanted to feel.”

I’m open to video editing, motion design and content-lead opportunities in Dubai, remote or abroad. If your story deserves more than 1.7 seconds, let’s talk. ✨

How I build a content month

Six stages, the same for any brand. Scroll, and each one takes the stage.

Scroll to start the month

  1. 1

    Research the market

I start with the audience, the competitors and what's working on the platform right now: topics, formats and audio. The plan is built on real interest, not guesswork.

  2. 2

    Double-check the information

Before anything is written, I verify the claims with the people who know: the client, the expert or the original source. Nothing goes out that the brand can't stand behind.

  3. 3

Turn ideas into scripts and storyboards

Each idea gets a hook, a script and a storyboard, so everyone can see the piece before any time is spent making it.

  4. 4

    Build the content calendar

The pieces go into a monthly calendar by content type, format and date, balanced across the month and around key dates. The client approves it before production starts.

  5. 5

    Brief, edit and finish

I brief whoever is filming, or work from the footage I'm given. Then I edit each piece for the platform it's going to: vertical, captioned and on brand.

  6. 6

    Schedule, publish and review

Captions are written, everything is scheduled, and posts go out on time. At the end of the month I look at what performed and carry it into the next plan.

How I plan: a real calendar and a storyboard

The calendar is a real two-week plan for MoCha Creative. Client plans stay private, so the storyboard uses a fictional clinic.

Real plan

Content calendar: MoCha Creative, 7 to 20 October 2026

40 feed posts in 14 days: 24 reels, 5 behind-the-scenes reels, 8 carousels and 3 statics. Plus 14 stories and 12 LinkedIn posts. Instagram and Facebook run in Arabic, LinkedIn in English.

Video editing & motion

Short-form that holds attention past the third second, and long-form that keeps its shape. I cut for pacing first, then grade, then graphics — in Premiere Pro, After Effects and CapCut, depending on how fast it has to ship.

The story behind one video

A product video made in a power cut

The electricity was out that day. I shot this on a phone, lit it with a flashlight, and used a sheet of black card as the backdrop.

It drew a lot of attention from my client's audience, and CureV got in touch afterwards about making videos for them.

From a sketch to a finished cut

Nothing goes on a timeline before it exists on paper. Scroll and the sketch builds itself into the edit.

Scroll to start the edit

  1. 1

    Sketch the idea first

Before anything opens in Premiere, I draw it: the shot, the framing, where the eye should land. A rough sketch answers questions a timeline can't.

  2. 2

    Build the storyboard

The sketch becomes a sequence of frames in order, so the client and the videographer can see the whole piece before a single thing is filmed.

  3. 3

    Lay it on the timeline

Footage comes in and the clips find their places: selects, trims, and the rhythm the storyboard promised. Pacing gets decided here, before anything pretty happens.

  4. 4

    Layer sound, titles and motion

Music and audio underneath, subtitles and titles on top, After Effects graphics where the piece needs a lift. Every layer earns its place or it goes.

  5. 5

Grade it and make it live

Colour grading is where the rough sketch finally becomes the thing I imagined — skin tones right, brand palette intact, everything matching shot to shot.

  6. 6

    Export for where it's going

Final pass, then exports built for the destination: vertical and captioned for reels and stories, wider and cleaner for the website or a screen in the clinic.
